Rising Star Voices of Praise (RSVP)
Rising Star Voices of Praise (RSVP) is the premier choir ministry of
Rising Star Baptist Church, dedicated to glorifying God through the ministry of song.
This dynamic choir is made up of voices of all ages, backgrounds, and musical experiences,
united with one purpose—to lead God’s people into meaningful, Spirit-filled worship.
RSVP ministers through a powerful blend of traditional and contemporary gospel music,
creating an atmosphere where praise, worship, and the presence of God can be experienced.
The choir leads worship most Sundays and serves during special services and church-wide celebrations as scheduled.
Mass Choirs & Special Worship Opportunities
In addition to RSVP, Rising Star offers expanded choral worship experiences that allow even more voices to join in praise:
Rising Star Mass Choir
The Rising Star Mass Choir comes together for Missions Sundays
and other special worship services, including
Easter and select church-wide celebrations.
This choir provides an opportunity for members and guests to
unite in worship through song on powerful, high-attendance Sundays.
Women’s Mass Choir
The Women’s Mass Choir ministers annually during Women’s Day,
bringing together women of Rising Star to lift their
voices in praise, celebration, and testimony through music.
The Levites – Praise Team
Rising Star is also blessed with a dedicated praise team known as The Levites.
This worship team leads the congregation in praise and worship through song,
scripture, and exhortation, helping to set the tone for worship services and usher in the presence of God.

God praise and glory through the ministry of song.
RSVP and the Mass Choirs provide opportunities to
grow spiritually, build fellowship, and serve God through music.
